Programme Information
On the third Friday of each month at 2:30pm, with a repeat at the same time the following Friday, Steve will let you know what's new at the amazing libraries in Wairarapa. In this 60-minute programme, Steve will give you a rundown on the latest fiction and non-fiction books and DVDs, and programmes that the libraries are running in the coming months.
About Me
Hi, I’m Steve. As a mature self-acknowledged bookaholic, working through the 7 steps as we speak, I wanted to share with you my enthusiasm about the books (and other wonderful things) that are coming into Wairarapa libraries each month. Originally from the UK, I’ve lived and worked in the IT industry in London, Wellington and California, but I’m now retired and living the good life in Greytown with my lovely wife Ann. You may have seen or heard of me before in “Rotary Matters” or “Bookworms”, which are two other programmes on Arrow 92.&FM and WaiTV that I initiated. But my love of books, coupled with my love of Wairarapa’s wonderful libraries, convinced me to develop “Our Library”. My other interests are theatre (onstage in many productions in Wairarapa theatres), trapping at Pukaha, Sudoku, “Words With Friends”, and Bridge.
