CrossWay Sunday Worship

Programme Information

CrossWay Church in Masterton is offering a weekly over-the-air Worship Service Sundays mornings at 10am. Produced in their living room by Pastor Dan Yeazel and his wife Monica, They hope to bring a bit of the love of God and the meaningfulness of a spiritual connection in this time of social isolation. In addition to his regular sermon, Dan will lead listeners in prayer and contemplation. Prayer requests are welcome to be sent via email or phone. Due to production and delivery timelines, please make requests known by Thursday morning each week to be included in the following Sunday service.  Monica will offer some hymns and an occasional special music piece. The hope is that we all find this a consoling and enriching time to draw together, even as we are alone.

 About Us

Pastor Dan and his wife Monica are from Minneapolis, Minnesota in the USA.  Dan is serving a temporary pastorate here in Masterton until early in 2021. Together they enjoy traveling, kayaking, walking and BBC mysteries on Netflix.  Dan has always loved flying Cessnas and also soaring. Monica, a pharmacist, enjoys singing, currently with the Wairarapa Singers, and teaching Ukrainian egg decorating, as well as dabbling in other arts. The Yeazels have two grown children living in the States.

CrossWay Church Masterton is a Union Church, combining Presbyterian and Methodist parishes along with the Samoan Fellowship.  Worship is normally held at the historic red brick church on the corner of Queen St and Worksop Rd. Sunday services at 10am are in English, followed by tea, and all are welcome. Then the Samoan Fellowship gathers at noon for worship in the Samoan language. We enjoy both worship and social events together, and invite you to join us anytime.

In this time of Covid-19, our church office is closed, however we can still be reached should the need arise.
