Programme Information
Paku Korero at the Kauta is where real conversations happen — like kōrero around the kitchen table with a hot cuppa and the fire going.
This show is grounded in kaupapa Māori, tikanga, and lived experience. It’s a space to talk honestly about addiction, suicide awareness, healing, fatherhood, growth, and finding your way back to yourself.
No big speeches.
No pretending.
Just paku kōrero — small, real talks that carry big meaning.
From the kāuta to the community, Shan shares his own journey and sits with guests from across the hāpori to learn, reflect, and grow together.
Because healing doesn’t happen alone. It happens in conversation.
I te mate ki te ora. From survival to wellbeing.
