Programme Information
Kororā Community Voice is a community radio programme designed to strengthen communication, connection, and engagement between local residents, community groups, and Council.
The programme will provide a regular platform to share local stories, community updates, Council information, and conversations about matters that are important to our district.
As part of each programme, listeners will hear updates on Council activities, projects, consultations, community initiatives, events, and opportunities to get involved. The programme will also provide a space to highlight local people, organisations, and groups who contribute positively to our community.
The purpose of Kororā Community Voice is to make local information more accessible, encourage community participation, and create stronger connections by bringing conversations and updates directly to residents in an engaging and easy-to-access format.
About Us
I am a locally elected Council Member committed to improving communication, transparency, and engagement with our community.
Through this programme, I aim to create an additional channel for residents to stay informed about Council matters, understand what is happening locally, and hear about opportunities to have their say.
The programme will also celebrate the people, organisations, and initiatives that make our community strong. By sharing local stories and providing accessible information, Kororā Community Voice will support a more connected, informed, and engaged community.
The programme will be delivered with a commitment to fairness, accuracy, and respect for the diversity of voices within our district.
