60s Nostalgia is a trip down memory lane, as we take you through the music of the "Greatest Decade of Music". Over the years I've built up a large collection of music that you will enjoy. Normally you won't know what is coming up next (because I often don’t!) but this gives you a chance to request a favourite. Some weeks we have special themes. But every week we have great sixties music, so listen on in.

About Me

Hello, I'm Dave Sinton.  I have been presenting 60s Nostalgia since 2000 and still really enjoy it. Originally from Auckland I moved around a fair bit with my previous job but my wife Elaine and I have been living in the Wairarapa since 1994. We have a lifestyle block just out of town and thoroughly enjoy this magic part of NZ.

I have always loved music from the 60s. It helped that I was a teenager then and, living in Auckland, had opportunities to watch the popular bands and singers.  I also was able to experience the radio revolution when Radio Hauraki was founded and went to sea.

Since then I've been stuck in a time warp music-wise, and I love it! The variety of the music (and the talent of the musicians) still grabs me ,and it’s a pleasure being able to pass this on. I have a big collection of music, so (in the words of He Ain’t Heavy, He's My Brother) "why not share?"
